December Organization - Day Three

You may have noticed that I haven't been telling you to clean this, mop that, dust something else in our effort to get ready for Christmas in a stress-free way. I am also not telling you how to put up your tree and decorations. That's something that most of us have done already. I just want you to be able to approach the holidays in a calm manner. Are you having a house full of company for Christmas? Yes? Well, we need to feed them don't we! The first step is to make up a menu for Christmas Dinner. Take into consideration any special dietary needs of your guests. Vegetarians, diabetics, gluten free; all need to be recognized when dinner is served. After the menu, you will need to make a grocery list specifically for the meal. You can add laundry detergent later. Do you have coupons for any of these items? Good for you. Save all you can on this meal. Now, put the list on the side of refrigerator so we can tweak it and add to it later. In the meantime, if you see any sales on any of the items on your list, go ahead and purchase them and mark them off your list. You've done enough for today. Good job. Let's go relax with our family in front of the TV or on the computer. See, stress free! What did you put into the donation box today?
